Termination of LightRecycle Washington Program Administration and Banking Information Update

Dear LightRecycle Washington Participant,

PCA Product Stewardship, Inc. (“PCA-USA”) is issuing this message to advise all participants of two important updates regarding the LightRecycle Washington (LRW) program:

  1. Notice of Termination of LRW Program Administration (Immediate Attention Required) – Effective December 31, 2025, PCA-USA will conclude its role as administrator of the program. Participants must continue collecting and remitting Environmental Handling Charges (EHCs) for all sales made through this date. The Washington State Department of Ecology will notify participants about the transition of the administration of the program for next year. See notice here.
  2. Notice of Update to Banking Information – Due to changes in banking services, PCA-USA has updated its account information. The previous HSBC lockbox and banking details are no longer valid, effective immediately. See notice here.

Please review them carefully to ensure you are using the updated payment information and are aware of the final EHC reporting and remittance timelines.
